Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Landfall (the “site”), run by Landfall. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What Landfall is

Landfall connects expedition guides with companies that hire them. Guides publish profiles and apply to jobs; companies publish company pages and job posts. Landfall is not the employer, agent or representative of anyone on the site and is not a party to any agreement between a guide and a company.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You're responsible for everything done with your account. Don't share access to your email.
• Recruiters may only create a company page for a company they are allowed to represent.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (profile, photos, job posts, messages). You allow us to store, show and process it as needed to run the site — for example showing your public profile or a job post to visitors. You confirm you have the right to post it.

4. Rules

Don't use Landfall to:

• post false, misleading or discriminatory profiles or job offers;
• harass, threaten or spam anyone, or send unsolicited advertising;
• collect other users' data (for example by scraping) or use it for anything other than hiring;
• break the law, infringe others' rights, or try to break or overload the site.

We may remove content, hide profiles, refuse or remove company pages, and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. You can report a conversation from inside it.

5. Hiring is between you

Guides and companies are responsible for checking each other (qualifications, certificates, contracts, pay, insurance, visas, safety). Landfall doesn't verify every detail on profiles or job posts — a “Verified” badge only means we reviewed the company page before it went live.

6. Availability and changes

The site is provided “as is”. We try to keep it running and correct but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop features. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll let you know on the site or by email.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Landfall is not liable for indirect losses, lost earnings, or for what users do or post. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

8. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close accounts that break these terms.
